Featuring 163 emerging art photographers, The Collector's Guide aims to further Humble’s mission by bridging the gap between ambitious early-career photographers and photography professionals. The Collector's Guide book launch party will take place at VOLTA NY, Thursday, March 5th from 6 – 9pm at 7 W. 34th St at 5th Ave. The reception will be held in VOLTA’s VIP lounge. This exhibit encourages photographers to interpret, question or celebrate the myriad aspects of desire.

The Collector's Guide is an invite only, unique 180–page source book distributed to collectors, art dealers, gallery directors, photo editors, museum professionals, and independent curators. Published biennially, The Collector's Guide aims to further Humble's mission by bridging the gap between ambitious early-career photographers and often-unapproachable photography professionals and art institutions.

Ideally, the 163 photographers featured in this publication will move on to find their work in private collections, represented by reputable galleries and included in group exhibitions. The Collector's Guide will also serve as a resource for photo editors, helping to attract assignments to featured photographers.

The Collector's Guide is not a traditional consumer-based art photography book. Instead, this source book is a complimentary guide for collectors and photography industry professionals.

45 Questions

Heard this on the radio last night, was trying and trying to remember a sentence so I could look it up. Got all muddled trying to catch some lyrics that were at once distinct and memorable.

Today I thought to look it up and finally found it even though the sentence I'd chosen hadn't quite stuck.

Then I discover the artist, Natasja, was a very interesting character. Danish momma and Sudanese dad, then dies at 32 in a car accident.

It's a lovely song, dear lyrics.

My question is: what kind of ring?
